Prescription Orders
Our facilities to process prescription request on behalf of our patients are listed below. We have introduced more options for patients to order their prescriptions, please see below in order of priority:
1. Online application: Patients are encouraged to use the
myGP app http://www.nhs.uk/nhsapp or
NHS app http://www.nhs.uk/nhsapp to order their prescription.
Please contact the practice via telephone for further information and registration.
2. Email Email address is available for patients or carers
Patients are advised to state (Patient name, Date of birth, address, list of medication due for ordering & practice).
3. Hand deliver: Patients can hand deliver their completed prescription slips to the Richmond reception at the Acorn Primary Health Care Centre for ordering. If you require a copy of your most up to date prescription repeat slips, please contact your community pharmacy team.
4. Via POST Royal Mail : Patients are advised to post their request into :

5. Via Exempt telephone line: Only if you are unable to order via the above mentioned options, please contact your practice via telephone for more information to check your eligibility for our exempt line. The exempt telephone line is operational between 13:00 – 16:00.
Nominating Patients to a Pharmacy (Essential)
All patients who are not nominated to a pharmacy are encouraged to immediately nominate a pharmacy as prescriptions are sent electronically
Please contact the practice team if you have queries related to your prescriptions
Please allow a 48-hour time frame for your GP to process your prescriptions once requested.
